Our Pals are kept under some of the, uh, most atrocious working conditions that would not only anger PETA but also OSHA and human rights orgs around the world. Unfortunately the developer's prior pedigree leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to genre mixing like this. As the absolutely incredible trailer above shows us, we can force our Pals to create weapons for us, which we’ll use to defend our territory or destroy our enemies. The idea of a game which focuses on the wide range of uses Pokemons would realistically get instead of reducing them to cockfights, especially because much like Space Trader you could have your playstyle be everything from Animal Crossing cute and friendly to Factorio captain planet villain. Can Nintendo and Pokemon take action against PalWorld for allowing their game to be. Then the poaching gimmick reminds me of Space Trader somehow: I think that organizations like PETA would be much more active. Meanwhile on the converse side of things adding Pokemons to a crafting/automation game or to a 3rd person arena shooter is a straightforward gimmick that has a lot of potential. Team Rocket would be the norm not the exception.

Creatures with superpowers that are more tameable and trainable than real animals but not quite smart enough to make a plea for citizenship? Yeah we'd abuse the shit out of them, especially the ones that are insufficiently cute to just get pampered pet status. Click to shrink.Honestly the game concept is brilliant, in part because its simultaneously comically subversive yet at the same time is basically what we'd do to Pokemon in the real world.
